img_1854We stopped in Charleston, WV at Mel’s old work, Book-A-Million, and of course, we all had to shop. We didn’t think there was a clearance section, so the group wandered through the Young Adult section, all touching the spines of our favorite books, giving our friends high fives as we passed. Liz and I found autographed copies of Firstlife by Gena Showalter and squealed with giddy joy. I found a Gryffindor Quidditch t-shirt that I had to have (of course).

Then Mel wandered to the back of the store and gasped. There was a clearance section a mile wide, all young adult novels. Needless to say, I left the store with my wallet just a little lighter (okay, a lot lighter). But I got such a huge book haul, I almost cried from happiness at my new books. We’re stopping in Hamilton, OH at Half Priced Books so that means only one thing: MORE BOOKS!

Today is one for the books and it’s only 3:00 PM.
